Custom Arena Error

So far tried the re-attempts 5 time with no success.  I'm not exiting the game between tries either.

Also tried this with other maps and no luck.

Help because we need practice for tonight's FSO.

In our squad we have found that once you make an arena successfully, you can't do it again the next time.  Is there something cashed that is causing a problem?

Im getting the same results.

Before FSO, Jaeger tells me that he can't make the Custom arena work with any terrain so I go in this morning and I can't make the Custom arena work either.

After the normal splash message, a dialog replaces it that says,

Problem occured while retreiving ahiiterr/2.res

(copy sent to Skuzzy)

Edit:

Even with ndiles it says that it's downloading the terrain! The download dialog screen is behind the error dialog.

I tried this again with the TA arena. I got the same message "Problem occured while retreiving ahiiterr/2.res"  then the arena appeared. I tried to enter the arena and got the message again "Problem occured while retreiving ahiiterr/2.res".  Then the arena disappeared. Tried again and got the message that I already had an arena.

BTW the proper spelling is "occurred" and "retrieving".

I hope you meant the TA terrain in a Custom arena.

Yes. Somehow "map in a custom" went missing. I blame the cat.

It's still not working which is bad as we can't upload a terrain and test it.
 

Even with ndisles

Tried this morning to create custom arena with ndisles like I have done many times before.  Could not do it, problem downloading terrain as reported above.  See attached

I need to know, if anyone has been able to get a custom arena to work, after they manually install a terrain.

I tried last night. I downloaded germanyw.res (even though I had the current one from last week's FSO) and I downloaded training.res. I kept getting the error about "Problem occurred while retrieving ahiiterr/[insert number here].res". I'm at work right now, so can't get more details for you at the moment.

Did you try a second time, immediately after the error?

When I say "immediately", I am talking about not exiting the game.

It's all a blur, but I'm fairly sure I tried both ways - with and without exiting the game. I'll give it another go tonight.
