Once, in the USMC, we were on a ridiculous all-day hump across the lava fields between Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea on the big island of Hawaii... so many people fell out... I had to have my ankle reconstructed, another guy broke his effing back from what all we were carrying, countless heat casualties, countless bleeding feet... it was led by our crazy (but absolutely legendary Marine) Battalion Commander.... our company commander (who I'd follow into hell to this day) said that the moment he realized he didn't hear Marines squeaking was the moment he knew things were bad.
This game is still awesome, it's still a hell of a lot of fun, and if people aren't having that they either need to take a break or re-evaluate how they are playing it.
(Also, TrackIR is so effing awesome... anyone that considers themselves a flight sim fan, let alone hardcore, should do themselves a favor and get this.)
