In the context some have used the term "Lame" is a fixed or rigid point of view.  That one should not fly in a manner that skews score because "real" pilots would never do that.  This presupposes "good" pilots would never fly in a boundless carefree manner.

Another really fun endeavor is bomber hunting...in a Stuka! I did it a few months ago thinking the cannons in the Ju 87G-2 just might be really effective on bombers.  They are!!!  

It does take some aiming practice but once you get it down it is a blast!


EDIT: You dont have a lot of ammo in a Ju 87G-2 so shoot close and limited bursts (convergence 300).  Only takes one hit to remove a wing etc.

Many are not aware but an N1k CAN hit 550 mph in a dive if done right.  The key is start high (of course) and dive at a very shallow angle, i.e. NOT too steep.  You kinda have ease the N1k into the dive.

Ideally you can coordinate it to be in level flight parallel to the ground at 550 mph in the thick of a base taking horde with 4 x 20mm cannons!

Folks this is crazy amazing fun.

To produce the N1k missile:

For 500 mph
1. Climb to 15k.
2. Start dive just pass dar ring of base to buzz.
3. Steep dive to 10k then ease to 45 degrees.
4. Engage wep when below 3k.

For 525 mph +
1. Climb to 25k.
2. Start dive just pass dar ring of base to buzz.
3. Steep dive to 10k then ease to 45 degrees.
4. Engage wep when below 3k.

In both instances there will be MAJOR buffeting from 10k +\- to just below 5k.

   I had fun last night and helped win tha warz!

    Upped a mosquito and bombed HQ (bish), Achievement! Though lost 2 drones to a 163 and played with a 190 for awhile but he finished me after 3 or 4 failed attempts.

   Looked at a few planes I haven't flown in awhile, 2 kills in a Nik, 1 in a zero, couple in a C205.  

  Ah the Warz! Flew a goon to V47 with all VHs up, landed by the Map room and bingo. OK one more base. While most thought V45 was the easiest bish put up a substantial defense. That served as a good distraction so rolled to A44 town with the Rocket Tank and proceeded to destroy town with the help of some others meanwhile enjoying the augering of Shane. Sorry buddy.
   We flew several goons at one time to the town (troops disabled at v47) and landed a few while some air dropped. Whew where to spend all those 25 perks.

Upping at Capped bases. I thry to break the blockage and take few bad guys with me. I've saved a few bases in this way. Really bad for the stats though.
