As an FYI.  The moderators are the most heavily watched players in the game.  They cannot act without being scrutinized for it, by HTC.  It really is a pain-in-the-butt to be a moderator.

So how do these moderator-players get this task?  Do you recruit them or do they volunteer?

He actually has done that a lot in the recent past. I instantly remember several of these threads

It doesn't happen in all of them, or even in most.  It didn't happen in the recent Mendo thread, or the last 2 large threads with the same subject.  I too have seen it done by HTC in some past similar posts, what I'm saying is it should be done, immediately by HTC, in ALL of them as a policy.  The Mendo thread would have been over page one instead of page 12, with 11 pages of ridiculous arguing, banter, and in before the locks,  all for nothing.

The Mendo thread was started after business hours and was over 5 pages long before the office opened.  The Mendo thread was a voice issue, not a text issue.

Mendo also acknowledged he dropped the f-bombs, before we got into the office.

Our policy has been to reveal whatever happened in these types of threads.  The Mendo thread was no exception.

Please drop the back seat moderation discussion.

You my friend, are a Real Man of Genius. The same applies to anyone actively wanting ANY position of power-politician, policeman, TSA groper. We should probably choose them the same way we choose jurors or something.
