The IJN 109 was sold to japan during the war, so by the current limits, it could be added  :D but I do support the idea of captured skins.

Love the ijn f6f. I wonder how they got a hold of it (crash and parts from other crashes or a base capture).

Keep in mind that HTC has always held that no captured aircraft skins will be approved....

No it can't.  It doesn't even meet any of the criteria for being added to the game.  The Japanese received only 5 unarmed Bf 109E for test and evaluation purposes.

A question: If there is sufficient information to support their use in combat, would it then be a qualified reason to have one skinned in IJN colors even if there were just 5 planes? :headscratch:

That would be up to HTC to decide but it's a rather moot point since none of these planes were armed nor saw any sort of combat.

Given Pyro's full time absence from HTC, I'd prefer to see all energy put towards the completion of the new graphics.

I wouldn't mind captured skins so long as they were used in combat in at least squadron strength.

So far as I know that limits it to just Japanese P-40s though, so kinda pointless to even make the change.

And Finnish Lagg-3s (which we don't have yet). Also, did anyone else notice that the "German" Lagg-3 from the OP's link is actually Finnish?
