Last night I was disco'd probably 20 times.  :bhead  Each time, except once, the AI put me back in game. It only showed up as 1 disco in my stats but was very annoying. Finally just gave up and logged off.

Pingplotter showed packet loss at X0.net between my isp brighthouse and verizon in Dallas.

If you have a choice, do not use X0.net as an internet service provider. When I called them up a few weeks ago to ask about the packet loss, they lied about it.  :furious When I called brighthouse, they said there wasn't anything they could do about it.  :cry

I'm still looking at other ISPs, but it appears the other service providers around here aren't much better.  :(

Just keep in mind that all routers do not respond to ICMP so ping plotter may report a perfectly functioning node as having 100% packet loss.

Has HTC responded to this reoccurring problem and I just missed it?

If you were to blame me for ebola, would I respond, not likely...

I have been playing since '06, in every case where I had an issue such as this, and it was on HTC's end, they addressed it and issued a mea culpa.

Not trying to mod here, but there is a bug report forum for these kinds of issues.  To roast hitech for something like this without direct knowledge of what is causing the issue is silly.  Could it be their fault, sure, but simply state "It's a hitech creations type of thing" with no evidence to support the claim ridiculous.

There have been a lot of DDoS attacks in the last couple of days.  I doubt they would have targeted AH (seems Blizzard and Riot Games were their targets) but there might have been some side effects that affected the internet.  The attackers did take down Battle.net and League of Legends, as well as call in a bomb threat on the airplane Sony's CEO was flying on forcing it to be diverted and searched.

Losing 10% or more at X0.net. Plots are already posted here.
