The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

As of today things are going well. He has had  a complete blood transfusion. Doesnt have any of original blood in him. He was bleeding so much. The doctor believes that has saved the arm. It is to be see yet if he can keep it. Chances of infection are a little higher with all the junk that was in the wound.

We wont know for a while how much use he will have with the arm.

Thanks for all the prayers guys. We know they have helped. :salute

This happened in Oregon? I live in Oregon and did a search and cannot find the story. Anyway I hope he successful recovery.

I just got a call from one of my friends relation in Oregon.  My friend was installing a 17,000 lb cover when it fell on him in the hole. Cj was clipped by it when it fell. Taking most of his arm off just below the shoulder. A volunteer EMT(a coworker) saved his life on the job, By stopping the bleeding. Doctor said by the amount of blood left in his body that it would been over if the coworker hadn't stop the blood.
The arm was hanging by just a little flesh.    He has just came out of  7 hours of surgery. The doctor says that their might be a chance that they can save the arm...  Low percentage according to the doctor.   He will finish trying to reattach it tomorrow. Right now Cj is in the ICU in a drug in-dosed comma.  Will know the chances of saving the arm tomorrow.

Ask for prayers for Cj that he might make it through without losing his arm and the family can cope with this. :salute
