I did that last night almost 3.5 sectors.  Try to get a few kills get nothing. On my way home low on fuel.   Then I see bombers in distance.  Set up for a perfect 10 o'clock to 4 o'clock run.  Kill one bomber but on the way by lazer oils both engines.  Made home 2.5 sectors.  One of those I hope I make it home times.   


Col will set up arena to duel 262's.  If u want

The 262 pilots the hardest to shoot down 262 v 262 use their flaps and risk getting slow. That's why you have a hammer flying just outside of the 262 on 262 turn fight. Then he drops the hammer on the low, slow, flaps out DA style ACM 262. But, first you need your wolf pack to corral him before he DDs on home at 650 with his belt full of your countrymen's scalps.

1 to turn him.
1 to drag him.
1 to engage him.
1 to keep him turning.
1 hammer to end the nonsense.

And you need a large enough squad to have forward air control keying up on the map to vector your wolf pack to the running enemy 262. And even bait it into hanging around. Hmmmm.....is this Aces High or Viet Nam??

That is the way to deal with the hair driers. If you up a 262 and kill the other 262 he will come back. If you come with 5 262s and beat him senseless, he will not.  :old:

I ran into their 262's once and at first I didn't see them but I heard them...

I broke and ONLY saw TWO. . . I was handling the two enough to where I had an escape route. . .

Then 3 mins later 4 more 262's at 11k come and at that moment I knew. . .I was screwed lol

I couldn't even scramble Top Gun fast enough to get help
