Duece With PW Dies On Runway Nano-Second Before .ef

WTF?

Had a pilot wound in a deuce.   Friendly base nearby so landed there...about the 4th black out (no other plane problems, just the PW).  Get down safely and am a nano-second before clicking end sortie (there are no other planes, gv's etc. around and the base is not even blinking)  and WOW ... "you have been killed".

Really?  Safely down and a nano-second before .ef and I die?

Please check this bug before it cheats others out of their perkies.

All PW eventually leads to death if u don't land, and BTW, more than one pilot in WW2 died after they had put the plane on the ground so i don't see it as a bug. You where simply unlucky enough to be a split second too late so your pilot died.

You mean US pilots taking 20 30mms in the cockpit and surviving long enough to watch the 262 go down in a HO?  :D

you should know by now that PW's are random  4 blackouts or 13  it depends.   

It isn't some conspiracy to rob you of your perks just plain old bad luck.   Just have to shrug it off and think  oh well another 40,000 fighter perks to go...

A pilot wound adds time pressure to the decision process. When leaking fuel, making a landing is sufficient to stop the clock. With a pilot wound you need to end sortie.
