Task Group Commanded by player not displayed on clipboard

Compello map 3/24/2015 at 1837 hrs CST a player was in control of task group c24 but no name was displayed on the clipboard. You can see in the text buffer of attached screen shot we were discussing it and the player input course change.

How long had you been in the arena? If you check the roster and other arena things right away before all the data is downloaded to your client, you will see odd/missing things.

Everybody in our country could not see the name. That's why we were talking about on country channel. Trying to figure out who was in control. The player was busy and didn't see our requests at first but eventually we discovered who it was. The players name never did show up for anyone as far as we could tell.

I have always had a problem with player not shown as in command if I log in after he took control. Wonder if it works both ways and he took control before everything loaded when he logged in?

You do not have to take command of a CV group to change its path/route.  As long as there is no commander for the CV group, anyone in that country can change its route.

Skuzzy nobody that tried could change it. That's why I posted as a bug. Lazer admitted he had command and couldn't understand why nobody else could see that. How could this be a training issue?

Lazers current rank is 30 and most likely none of us outranked him.

I've seen this a few times.  Can't say if it was still being actively turned, but no name shows up and it won't allow navigation and/or anyone to take command.

Unless the actual person out ranks you. 

I have seen this before too.  I see no name, but a higher ranked person is actually in charge of it.  I think it happens if someone takes charge of the CV before I enter the arena.

This Happend to me once in the MA. I wanted to take control of the CV but someone else was in command. I was knights as always and the commander Game ID that showed up was 99taters and he was rooks. Appearently you can't see enemy task groups names. Its a bug. All i did was relog and it was fine.
