I never did shoot down a 163 in my Mossie.

As God is my witness, I had one lined up as he went in to land, he had no clue I was there as i was NOE. Had my finger on the trigger, ready to fire.

I never landed 13 kills without a rearm.

I never lost an Ar234.

Pretty much the stuff in the OP about private communication as well.

Planes, jeeps, other chutes, ack emplacements.

Apparently there was someone who claimed that he had bombed the cv but it didn't sink but he shot at it with the .45 and it suddenly blew up/disappeared.

He wasn't sure whether someone else was firing at it or it was just that close to being sunk.

current Late War Tour I have a B-26B kill in a chute. Even though they passed close to my chute, its probably a proxy kill.
I get about one of these a year.
