Details Friday Squad Operations Nov 7th-21st
« on: November 01, 2003, 01:02:23 AM »
Gents,

Here are the squad sides for this next Squad Operations. Just so you all know I went back two squad Operations. Any squad that had been Axis twice in a row were automatically put Allied this SO. The exception would be squads that prefer to be Axis every time. Any squad that was Allied in the last two SO were automatically put on the Axis side. After that I looked at what requests were made by what squads plus I considered the AC in this SO and if a squad had a chance to fly their favorite ride. My apologies if you did not get your request, but that happens some times.

Numbers are based on the “high” end of squad commitments. I always give the Axis side about 5 to 10 percent more pilots because the Axis side always has a lower turn out of pilots. I will send the Frame C.O.’s all the e-mails they need for the squads on their side.

Allied Squads
AirMageddon Squad – 6 pilots
56th Fighter Group – 10 pilots
412th FS "Braunco Mustangs” – 6 pilots
325th FG Checkertail Clan – 15 pilots
The Damned SG1 – 10 pilots
Arabian Knights – 15 pilots
Fat Drunk Bastards – 6 pilots
Nightmares VMF-101 – 25 pilots
Shillelagh – 10 pilots
880 Squadron Fleet Air Arm – 10 pilots
Total 111 pilots

Axis Squads
332nd Flying Mongrels – 20 pilots
Dogz of War = DoW – 10 pilots
Rogue Squadron "Shoot em in the face!" – 6 pilots
-=Marine Air Wing=- - 15 pilots
339th FG "The Lads From Fowlmere" – 6 pilots
$$GRAVEDIGGERS$$ - 6 pilots
+AirRaiders+ - 15 pilots
III/Jaboastaffel ~Luftwaffe~ - 15 pilots
68th Lightning Lancers – 10 pilots
~~~FATE~~~ - 10 pilots
(((Arctic Storm 11th air Force))) – 6 pilots
Total 119 pilots
As for Frame C.O.’s I don’t ask for volunteers, but assign by rotation so everyone gets a chance to carry the burden. If you are not sure how to be a Frame C.O. please read this thread.
http://www.flyaceshigh.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=96219
Frame 1
Allied AKiron vs. Axis TracerX
Frame 2
Allied Nomde vs. Axis Cando
Frame 3
Allied Midnight vs. Axis Bizket
Please if you see any errors or omissions let me know.
Orders to the Frame C.O.’s will go out tomorrow, Saturday Nov 1st.
Plane set and countries will be as follows.
Allied be Knights will have the Western part of the map.
Axis (German) will be Bishop will have the majority of the center of the map. This will be the case unless the Setup CM’s finds it necessary to rotate the countries for any reason. Russian forces will have the North East corner of the map.
This will be based on points. The LW will be on the defensive mostly by intercepting bomber and jabo missions scattered throughout the map. Trains, truck convoys, bridges, barges, hangers are all possible targets. If bomber group is tasked to take out a bridge and some hangers, but lose most of their squad in doing so they will collect very few points for their efforts while the LW will receive substantial points for shooting down many of the bombers. The flip side will also be true. A successful bomber run with few losses will result in considerable points for the Allies. Note the Russian forces will be a “third” country. So if you are flying as Russian or American not all “red” icons will be enemy. Remember that as you are flying in this event. Nor will you have voice communications between American and Russian forces. LW of course can kill anything red. ;)
Please note one change.
Fuel settings will be 1.0 rather than 1.5. I wrote this event up 2 months ago and just found a note about the fuel that I forgot about.
Just emailed all allied COs a request for their preference in planes. If you don't receive it tonight please let me know ASAP, thanks.
Where you last month???
If so I am very sorry! :( Asked around who were the Frame C.O.'s last time and I don't think your name came up. My mistake if you were.
Well rest assured you "will not" be one for a while after this. ;)
