Not to start a separate fight, but what's the big deal with HO'ing anyway?  This isn't croquet, it's war, and I think I (and you) should take any shot possible.  It takes two to tango, and a HO poses the same risk to both planes.  I'll avoid them if I can, but if I get shot down at 180 deg of deflection, I've obviously done something wrong that put me in a head-to-head position with no way to avoid it... which happens often, because I suck... but I don't feel any worse about it than if I get shot down from behind, it's just another testament to my lack of skill.

when i get killed in a Ho , i dont tell anybody, i dont want them to think i was so stupid to get sucked into a HO........of course if i get the kill ....well it was my elite skill that outmanouvered the enemy

Been exactly where you are; felt exactly the same.And not so long ago   ;). After time has passed now I can tell that there is nothing less intelligent than to get pissed about this kind of matters  :).

Accept a friend's advice: Don't get pissed about HOs or weird deaths. Happens sometimes, and this is a game, nothing serious.

If you get in an especially bad HO-streak, get on board of a Fw190A8 and go for the HO. Then hear them whining as they fall after eating a good 30mm spanking   ;).

Take it easy   :)

You should have taken the hint and cooled down.

Montiors of the arena will remain anonoumous, infact if they ever say who they are they will no longer be monitors. The resone for this is quite simple, it prevents people from trying to get in there face, when they don't agree with them. 2 it prevents them from having to deal with complaints about other players when they didn't see what happened.  

Next time take the hint.

If you didn't and there was no "bad" language, well, then that's something else.

And geezus, over a head on?! Just once you'd think people would get over the notion that head ons are not a perfectly acceptable form of attack.

The whole point is to get your guns on target, there is no rule or law that says "But both of you can't HO each other!" It makes sense not to HO, but then again they just set themselves up to kill 'em easy immediately after the merge.

Yes, I know "But you can't always avoid a HO"........ yup, just like how cowpies come from monkeys...

That's pathetic, Soviet. Most engagements start with some sort of head on. When two planes spot each other, they either fly towards each other to close the gap, or they fly away from each other which is stupid. Or, the third choice is one flys away and one flys towards. But who'd be stupid enough to offer you his arse and fly away from you?

A head-on was part of combat. Just face it!  :p

No, I've seen this box myself. It is like a warning that pops up and says some hoopty stuff about toning it down. Prettu much what HT just said. Better than getting kicked out anyways.

I think I got it for asking Glasses if he was Jewish (inside joke via Animal) and up popped the warning.    :eek:

DRippy was online and I figured it was him, although I doubt HTC would give him moderator powers. Tha'd be like giving Barney Fife a full clip.
