We're conducting another frame-rate test with this version. To
run the test, set up your video options according to your system's
performance. Using the CMEYE mode
or remaining in the tower,
enter the command ".vidtest 0". Record your framerate after allowing
it to settle. Then repeat this last step with .vidtest 1, .vidtest 2,
and .vidtest 3 commands. Please report your results along with your
system specs in the AH2 beta bug report forum.
We're also looking for bugs with vehicles not properly colliding with
objects. To test this drive an M3 around and make sure you aren't
able to drive through any trees or buildings and that you are able
to drive through gaps in the trees that are wide enough to accomodate
the vehicle.
Finally, we're also interested in any framerate stutters. It will
be normal to encounter some stutters the first time you fly and have new
objects or terrain come into view (this is just the first time you fly in
this version, not each time you start the game and fly). If you change
video settings, you may have to go through that initial set of stutters
again as everything gets loaded. If you're seeing a repeated stutter
that isn't matching what is expected above, please report this with
your system specs.
