Hmmm. New patch out for 3 days, fixes a lot of the complaints, and nobody cares about anything but the stupid language filter?

Sheesh!

Anyway, haven't tested it a lot, but the knife-edge bug seems to be squashed pretty effectively. Spins seem to be back to a believable nastiness (at least in the Hog), and IMO the effect of engine torque on yaw is still a bit weak.

At least that's what I think. Anyway the FM just went back up to pretty dam...er...darn good I'd say

I'd noticed

The changes plus having swapped out the pots on my CH stick on Sunday and I'm a happy pig in sim-heavan.

Yeah, the FM seems to be tuned real well. Slips bleed E again, enough to be useful and believable.

Kinda wonder about the torque, too, but I have no RL experience to compare. I guess I took some pride in learning to handle the "old" Hog and Tiffie, so they seem like popsiclecats now.

I guess E retention is more on the numbers now. Gotta keep one hand on the throttle. Sure makes for some great fights.

Westy, where'd you get the pots from?

Straightforward operation? My stick is a bit spiky, but I still got warranty on it. Still, rather than sending it back I'd risk fixing it meself if I only had pots and knew how.

Any info greatly appreciated.

You know what?

I never had a problem with ANY of the flightmodels. The only time I ever had any diffictulty was changing from WarBirds to v0.35 beta version (you tought torque was bad, you haven't played v.35beta recently).

I just want treelines, the Sherman M4A3(76)-E8 and the M7 Priest dammnit.
