I dont know what it is, The last patch before this latest one confused the hell out of me, And the new one is so confusing and big, I'm just gonna wait for the official finished 1.2. I wasnt going to download the last one, because I wasnt sure if it was official but I did, And now this one-two is different files, one 16 and the other one like 68 megs.

It might have all the new birds like the B17 and the pony, and not to mention some Japanese ones, But with the size I'm just gonna wait and see if they put out a final version of it.

Anybody grab it yet?

There was a leaked beta; 1.2b.

Oleg recently released an official beta 1.2RC

To dl to the current 1.2b (beta; also referred to 1.2RC_01)

Unzip both into your il2 FB folder.......

follow the links then click on the download button on the upper right.


You need both files if you wish to help test the official beta. You only need to test the 2 sound .dll

Both are in the RC_02 zip

mg_snd.dll (test this one first and then back up it)

mg_snd_.dll (rename this one by removing the space after snd so it is the same as the 1st one)

Decide which one you like and tell Oleg.

If you just wanna fly the a6m5a, p51, ki-84 dont worry about testing the sound just download bith files and unzip in you fb folder.

The official 1.2 "patch" should be out soon so if dont feel like f'in with just wait.
