Guys ,
maybe a major ground battle would be great with some planes I just think it would be neat.

Whats so funny .I think it would be great to see 60 to 75% of gv's in an event slugging it out against 2 ridges that are line uped on two different sides CHARGEING with the smell of gun powder in the air and a smoke filled battle field who will win the road to victory. Just because this game is aces high does not mean we have to stay with 90 to 80% planes I just thing it would be nice to Ramual's tigers going against the US army Tanks .I think we could  do an africa thing I think thats where he was in the war? But if you think it is that funny I guess it is out of the question. I would like it to be a snapshot on wednesday night if we can not do it  on an event scale. If I can who do I contact to get the ball rolling on a snapshot.:)

I'm in.  It sounds like a real blast.  Ignore the nay-sayers, KO.  They are living in their own narrow little world.

How 'bout El Alamein, or Kursk?  Not too many air assets, but a BUNCH of gvs in El Alamein.  Both were "set-piece" battles, with limited amounts of travel.  More like WWI than WWII, really, with formidable fixed defenses.

Kursk had a lot more air involvement.

be patient... AHII:Tod has major potential for some badass Combined Arms stuff. With Player controlled GVs mixinig with A/I Columns, you can achieve something closer to the Epic combined arms battles like Kursk, while allowing pleanty of room for people who still want to fly.

That would be good enough for me. I'm really looking forward to that, even though it appears to be in the distant future.

If you can't wait that long for good GV Action, you could always Check out CAP which often has a GV component, although it's not as large as you're talking about here.

68KO , i was not trying to offence you

this was first pro-gv's "whine" on Special Events forum i read from 2 years. Thats was so funny:)

Morover , with current  damage modeal, and terrains.
Without tons of osties and m16, tanks are only target for airplanes. And as you know ( i supose) something about 200 osties was ever build. Im not sure about m16 (posibly something aroud 1000. So, for tanks battles AH is not best game

No problem no offence taken but picture the seen 1 ridge with panzers lined up firing back and fourth with m3's skurring to keep there supplies running to the front. Who will out last the fire fight will the supplies run out? Who knows. But the americans flank them from the side and take out there vh and with no supplies they woud be dead lol I love .I been working on a terrian for the for some time . I would like to run it as a snap shot is that possiable?:aok

Right Now I live across the river from trenton nj. about 15 mins from the BB Bridge. Would like to meet some east coast locals from AH . since i been on i havnt met any from AH. One day would like to go to A Con and see some who i go against and squadies..

not many heard of Morrisville and Bristol Pa

My great Uncle won the Silver Star when over in italy but so far no one in the family knows why and did alot of mail to The records Center In IN and they told me most of the records there were destroyed from that year forward in that big fire they had

I been sending them alot of info that my dad kept in records and they are treying to rebuild his record with info i give them, this way his stuff will be back in army records there in IN
