An interesting situation has developed this season. The Russians, while celebrating the recapture of Galicia, have opened up a pandora's box by allowing the defeated army of Galicia to retreat into the Russian rear in Rumania. The ramifications of this should be quite clear to all parties, and if the Tsar and the Sultan guess wrong in the fall, the Kaiser could potentially wreak havoc in the Russo-Turkish rear.

In the only other development of note, the French have scored a double coup by eliminating that pesky Turkish army in Tyrolia, while also establishing a beachhead in Albania.

Will the fall of 1911 see the breakthrough sought by the Franco-German alliance, or will the Russians and Turks out play their opponents and turn the tables in their favor?

Stay tuned....

Respectfully submitted,

Master banana

After the "aceshigh1" game is completed, I'm going to start another one... or if there are seven players interested, I can start one now.

Seeing as how quickly I got eliminated from the last game you hosted, Sandman....I'm game for joining another one. All we need are six more people. :)

I'm new to PBEM Diplomacy, but I'd be happy to join a game.

Looks like it's filled up, but post anyway.  If someone backs out you may be able to get in.   Or better yet, there might be enough interest to start a second game.

Hehe... funny thing is... banana is the master of "oclub" and I am Germany. I am the master of "aceshigh1" and banana is Germany. It's been fun just to compare and contrast maps with him. :)
