http://www.floc.net/dpjudge/gamemaps/oclub.gif?map=0.852115An interesting situation has developed this season. The Russians, while celebrating the recapture of Galicia, have opened up a pandora's box by allowing the defeated army of Galicia to retreat into the Russian rear in Rumania. The ramifications of this should be quite clear to all parties, and if the Tsar and the Sultan guess wrong in the fall, the Kaiser could potentially wreak havoc in the Russo-Turkish rear.
In the only other development of note, the French have scored a double coup by eliminating that pesky Turkish army in Tyrolia, while also establishing a beachhead in Albania.
Will the fall of 1911 see the breakthrough sought by the Franco-German alliance, or will the Russians and Turks out play their opponents and turn the tables in their favor?
Stay tuned....
