"I just wanted to point out not all Boeing employees are taking their jobs serious enough to devote all their attention to it and would rather goof off. Nothing personal. It's like when my employees want to talk on their cell phones. They have 3 breaks per day and can make their calls then. Any emergency calls can be placed thru the office. It's also our corporate policy not to allow personal access to the internet on company time. Both are poor work habits."

you saying some leftie is posting against company policy on the mans dime? maybe thousands of posts? never happen :)

poor poor work ethic.

2. Use of Boeing Personal Computers, Copiers, and Similar Office Equipment
Office equipment, such as personal computers and copiers, is provided for the conduct of company business. The company and its organizations may incur costs based on the rate of use of such equipment. Employees may not use a company mainframe, minicomputer system, or data network for any noncompany purposes except when such use is in accordance with this procedure. However, occasional personal use of a personal computer, copier, or similar office equipment is permitted within the following guidelines:
a. The use should be infrequent and minimal.
b. The use must not be related to any illegal activity or the conduct of an outside business.
c. The use must not cause embarrassment to the company.
d. The use should not be in support of any religious, political, or other outside organization activity, except for company- requested support to nonprofit organizations as provided in section B.4.
e. The equipment should be used on an off-hour basis, such as during lunch time or before or after work hours.
f. The use should not interfere with the performance of company business, the employee’s assigned duties, or the assigned duties of other employees and should not adversely affect the performance of the employee or the employee’s organization.
g. There should be no incremental cost to the organization or the cost should be insignificant.

According to the Company policy, I'm within legal. :) (99% of my posts are made from home, or during breaks or lunch)  I support no political or religious organization activities.

I work with one fellow who spends 10 minutes each hour smoking a cigarette outside, yet the company has not fired him yet for spending more time smoking than I do typing out a post or reading.

Its very interesting to say the least that the subject of this post went from a global focus on Boeing,  to me. Stalking isn't even the right description for this interesting turn of events. I'm flattered to say the least though!

(I think Yeager asked you a question...can you answer him?)

They literally took the project and gave it to vendors.  Most of tooling is offloaded now (non-Union shops that are competitive, our own IAM machinists union was over-paid, and dug themselves a hole in asking over market price for their pay)

I actually enjoy goofing on you, but this is something else. I'm almost embarrassed for you.
