The Case of the Missing Joystick(s)
« on: November 21, 2003, 11:33:25 AM »
I built up a new game machine from various parts laying around the house.

P4 2.6G
Soyo Dragon Ultra (Pt) MB
1.5G RAM
ATI AIW9700 Pro
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Audio
3Com NIC

I copied the AH folder from my previous game machine and ran it.  In the joystick setup dialog it 'sees' all my sticks (CH Fighterstick/Pro Throttle/Pro peddals/USB yoke).  I have the new CH Manager loaded.

Unfortunatly while it sees the sticks in the setup none of them respond.  I've calabrated them in and out of AH (CH Manager reacts to them with no problem), but still no responce from them in AH.

Just for giggles I downloaded the latest copy of AH and installed it into a different directory, but it doesn't react to stick motion, either.

Any ideas?  The IAF needs a spanking tomorrow, so time is short  :D

Go to joystick setup and make sure you have all your axis & buttons correctly assigned.

Did that.  It sees all the sticks, maps them out, then doesn't respond to them when they move.

I've even REmapped various things to the yoke and mouse...still nothing.
