I think they were trying to pretend they were doing that... right up until he downshifted. Then reality came back in a harsh way.

Amateurs.....

The loss of control came from a change in the cars CG which occured when he installed that oversized fart tip on the exhaust, it just took a while for for the right conditions to come together in order for this unbalanced condition to reveal itself. Well, that and he missed the next gear BIGTIME!
