Just turn off signatures. I turned mine off after some jackhole here put in some stupid 20 page history of humanity. I've never seen anything of interest in a signature.

OT - Do they have inspection parades in the US? Bush practically ran to the end of the line without saying a word to the troops. aren't you supposed to crack a few jokes, have a bit of a chat with a few of them as you leisurely stroll along? The lads must have spent days preparing their kit and it didn't even get a cursory glance.

Thanks for that knowledgable reply, but I suggest you look up the definition of inspection. Bush didn't inspect any of them. He just looked straight ahead and walked briskly along. Not that it matters any - it just looked odd.
