First Ever Shillelagh Recruiting Drive
« on: November 13, 2003, 12:54:43 PM »
The Shillelagh (Shill-LAY-Lee) Squadron is looking for some fresh blood, having abused the last batch of pilots for too long.

Formed Seven Years ago in the Dark age of AWDOS, the Shills have gone from upstart (AWDOS) to Ginormous UBERsquad (AW4W), to small special events squad.

We currently fly in the MA and in Friday Night Squad Ops. We are looking for pilots of any quality (heh, quality) who are interested in flying Friday Night Squadron Operations events.

If interested, drop me an email

And feel free to visit us at
http://www.shillelagh.org

Actually ... that's the name I've christened flight two of the JRs with recently. It relates to Blackburn's first squadron .... and my respect and appreciation of our Shill auxi ... errr .... fellow squad.

Thanks for the endorsment Horn, maybe we'll send our lawyers over to ink a long term deal for some TV comercials :)

That's great news about the +Nomads, I've sent them an invite to fly as guests in Squad ops, and any ARM can consider this an open invite as well. Just PM me in the special events arena.

Shillelagh has guest spots open for this Friday Nights Squadron Operations Event in the CT.

We are flying for the US, in the battle for Guadalcanal. If you're interested in the event, or in the squad (or what the hell, both) drop me an email, or better yet, post in this thread, and we'll get you squared away.

big to our Guests from this Friday, D345 and AUSCAR, we had a great mission, although it didn't turn out at all like planned (no plan surviving the first encounter with the enemy and all that lol).

An AAR of the Mission can be found here:

I hope to see some more Guests next week! and remember:
