Hey gents,
Hoping someone can help with this problem that's frustrating
the life out of me.
It's the blue screen of death when I release the transmit key.
I could last 1 or 2 hrs in the game, or it could happen 10 or 15 min. into the game.
Thunderbird MB., 900MHZ processor, Win ME, 256 RAM, 64 MEG ATI 9000, 8 MEG Yamaha sound (is that the prob?) Been thinking about upgrading the sound card.

A more powerful sound card will take some of the load off the processor and probly help some, also win ME is known for crashing alot, changing to XP will probly help but you really need more ram to run it.

im shure Skuzzy will be along with a few more questions ...

(note XP is not the anser here... not w/ a t-bird and 256 ram)

Hard to say what could cause this as there are so many sources for it.

The Yamaha sound card could be the culprit, but that is just a guess.  Would not hurt to replace it, as it is not supported any longer.

Have you truned off "use .wav in" in the voice setup? I used to blue screen with it on.
