Say Goodbye M-16

Dang wish i'd retained the link....

Seems it wasn't the cleaning, it was the lubricant issued by the U.S. mil. that was attracting the dirt etc.

Clean all you want but soon as you lub with the stuff issued by the mil. to lub the weapon here come the dust!

I seem to recall something very similar happening when the m16's were 1st issued n Nam.

Many are ordering and paying for some stuff put out by MilTech (think thats the name of the company) to lub their weapons.  It does NOT attract the dust etc.

"Why Israelis are still using M16s is beyond me tho(?!). "

Think cause U.S. was giving, is giving, the m16's away to almost any country that wants em!!!
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

I wonder what happened to the guns that fired caseless rounds or flatchettes? It's all I heard about in the 80's and now it seems they're after something totally different.
