okay, so I have a SB Live! and installed Live!ware 3.0 recently. I was offline tooling around mixing and playing trance(sounds like tekkno..). I setup the Liveware to play Mp3s and internet audio using the EQ: New Age setting for the trance MP3s. Wellllll, I had forgotten I set it to that and decided to play a little AH. I log in, everythings normal, I'm flying along. What's this? A spitfire below me and my P38 wants some action. :-) So I dive down, line up my shot and fire. Guns rattle off leaving my room shaking.. literally. Well, this never happened before. I'm running my PC audio through a very powerful stereo with JBL 500s, so when the base kicks in, feels like it's an earthquake.
But what was even more awkward than my guns vibrating my room so much I had bottles falling off my shelf(empty assorted liqour bottles), was the reverb effect. For about 3 seconds after I fired off my rounds, it was still echoing in the background. THEN, I take hits from the nearby ack. PING ping ping ping ping ping.. all from one hit.
So in conclusion.. make sure you reset liveware before you play Aces High or you're in for an.... experience? :-)
Just thought I'd share that with ya :-)
