The extended versions of fellowship and Tow towers are great........................ anyone seen the "easter egg" in the extended version of fellowship?
go to the chapter index,  go to the last chapter, push down as if there is another chapter, a ring will appear.  I won't give it away but it has Jack Black and Sarah Michelle Geller.

I don't think it was Peter Jackson that butchered it, but studio execs who thought it would be too long of a movie.  I wish they would release the normal version and the extended version in theaters and see which one brings a bigger draw.

Premier is on Monday (Sunday EST time), the hobbits flew in yesterday, town is packed with bloody foreigners, they're closing roads for some sort of parade to where the premiers being held so traffic is a nightmare (only watching it if Liz Tyler gets her kit off), theres bloody giant whatsitis being mounted on buildings.

Apparently there'll be 4 webcams broadcasting if anyones interested, one is here (theatre for the premier is in the background) : http://citylink.co.nz/services/webcam/courtenay/

THe extended version is tops....also I think the director/writers commentary should be mandatory, it also might help those who still can't get their head around the plot changes....I did say might...
