That's a genuine surprise!
Two questions:
1) there's a yank firm rebuilding replica 262's, I'd have thought that's the sort of thing that could happen in Czeck (or is it Slovkia now?); any hints?
2) I've asked this before, but never really got an answer: It's generally accepted that by 1945, the 109 series was reaching the end of it's development life, while there was still some scope left in the 190 concept (the Ta's and what would have followed, etc). Yet, post war, some countries carried on with the 109, while the 190 was scrapped. Why was that? What would these post war 109's be, G10's? K4's??
