Congrats! Try to enjoy the time between when she gets out of her diapers and a bunch of adolescent guys start trying to get in- in retrospect it's WAY too brief.

Margaret Rita

Let me guess you are a Jimmy Buffet fan and her brother is

Ryan Waters

Did you use a fertility clinic and frozen embryos?

Congrats on the happy news.

Thank you for all your good wishes, guys!

Animal: miko2d: May she have a good happy life and marry a nice black man

:) As long as he is healthy, smart and his parents are smart as well.

gofaster: Margaret = Rita?

The Russian version of it it is pronounced "Margarita" and Rita is a short form.

Gunthr: Explain how/why she was conceived at the same time as her brother

We were a bit impatient with conceiving the first baby and when we considered all the additional advantages of the in-vitro fertilization, we decided to take that route.
There has been a great progress made in the techniqies of applied embryology. Also, woman's eggs undergo rapid deterioration after mid-twenties which results in exponential increase of genetic and other disorders. Plus, the embrios are the only true life (fertility)-insurance for both parents. While men could insure against death of infertility by freezing sperm, freezing unfertilised eggs is still beyong the mainstream science.
As it stands now, my wife can go on having carefully selected babies conceived in her mid-twenties - even after she and I are dead...

So little Rita had to spend a couple of years in vat of liquid nitrogen.
