There is an online game called tribes. They have a very cool way of running the servers. You can boot, ban, mute, change the levels or whatever by a vote. The server admin can specify by what % a vote needs to pass. Anyone can initiate a vote, and a little text message appears and you can vote if you wish. In tribes you can also appoint admins with whatever level of privelages you wish, and this would work for us as well. IMHO filters are not the answer and this seems like the best way to "police" the arena. I'd like to hear what you guys have to say.

Tribes was not a single server system. Anyone could set up a server and leave it running indefinately.  It was nice to have this option.

HTC manages their own server, so this option is not necessary.  Plus.. people weren't paying to play on Tribes servers.

One thing about it in Tribes is that it was abused as much as it was helpfull.  No justification is needed to boot someone.. just a concensus vote.

Not in my world Easymo !

In Regards to "Tribes" Idea:
Naww Democracy only gets you Bill Clinton or Al Gore or George W. Bush or......

Seriously...
With Democracy this would become AirQuake.
As more people sign up more would want easymode. (They definitely would hate "Easymo" lol)
Democracy has already created enough "Pokemon Special Ops: Kill Mario" games for my liking.
LOWEST common denominator as they say. Ugh.
