Well it is, i love it   I think verm did an AWESOME job.

Here's some suggestions for the next revision of the map editor  

1) Give more types of terrain, we can edit our own, but it would be nice to have at least around 20 different types instead of the 5 or so we have now. You wouldnt have to make them, just make more options available for us.

2) Need more cultural items, IE rivers,bridges,farms,villages, etcera. The terrain looks kinda "empty"

3) Shadows under clouds, if you ever look at the land from the sky you will see that depending on the sun angle the terrainis kinda darkeded, but this is nitpicking

Zig, I would have loved to put more objects in the terrain.  

The problem is that this terrain is physically 4 times (in square miles) the size of standard MA, but still has the same limitations as the MA.

Hitech explained it to me like this.

Frame rates are not only effected by objects in view of your aircraft, but by the total number of objects in terrain. So, he set a maximum number of objects in the terrain to keep frame rates acceptable for those players with minimum spec machines.

Did you notice how I placed vehicle bases in North Africa and Sicily, but there isn't any in Italy and Southern Europe? Thats because I hit the limit and had to actually go back and remove the few I had already placed in Italy.

That said, there is still twice the number of "Strat" targets of each type in the terrain. Yep, thats right.   There are two HQ's for each country, in widely differing locations.

Hmmm im certainly not an programmer but this must be an "easy" way to solve this...
