OK, got one of the UNLOCKED multiplier barton2500s and Epxo 8RDa3+ a few months ago, remember? No? Well now you do.
Anyway, I had upped the multiplier from its native 11x to 12.5x - and got a barton2800+ for the price of a barton2500+ and it ran completely stable
Over the last couple days, I've upped my FSB to 175, leaving my multiplier at 12.5 - and I now have an ALMOST barton 3200+ for the price of a barton 2500+ (processor speed = 2188 MHz)
Gonna keep pushing it a bit at a time over the next few days - I think I have some more headroom.
Temps are stable at 41 Deg C in Warbirds (which, I've found, is a great stability app - it crashes sometimes even when prime95 runs like a champ - and no, its not cause WB is crash prone, I've never had stability problems with WB) - but I think its registering between 5 and 10 degrees too low, so worst case, call it 51 degrees C on standard retail cooling and a mild over voltage of 1.7V (standard is 1.6).
I think I'm happy - WBIII at 4X antialiasing and 16X anisotropic filtering at 1024x768 is between 60 and 100 FPS.
AHHHHHHHH.........
Wierd thing is, even though I've got Kingston HyperX 3200 (2326 stuff, not the 2226 stuff) the system won't boot at 10x200FSB (2.0 GHz) - I get a BSOD on startup.
*shrug* I'll take what I can get.

(sucks that AMD is now multiplier locking their bartons now)
