This one is Finnish Aces of World War 2.  I haven't had time to look at it much, but I was interested in getting feedback on the subject from you guys.

Thanks

I've always been really impressed by WWII Finnish pilots and what they did.
The book is nice and some data regarding the 109G-2 performances are very interesting.
"And one of the finest aircraft I ever flew was the Macchi C.205. Oh, beautiful. And here you had the perfect combination of italian styling and german engineering .... it really was a delight to fly ... and we did tests on it and were most impressed." - Captain Eric Brown

Jochen, I thought with that handle you were a "Star of Africa" fan.

Could I be mistaken.

The Grandson or son of that leading Finnish Ace flies WB.

I wish my Grandpa was an Ace.  Only thing he killed during WWII was a Kodiak, and he did it with a Ferry Pistol and a Bull Dozer.

Well, he helped build the AlCan Highway (The Dirt road) and Adak.

For more on that subject, beg, borrow (but don't steal) a copy of Illu Juutilainen's "Double Fighter Knight". A really fun read on a theatre I had never heard about before a couple years ago.

You may have to order it direct from Finland, but it's worth the wait.
