I had almost forgotten about that.  I remember the tv ads where some shirtless teen-looking guy was in some basement or warehouse and he was giving short one-answer responses to some gravel-voiced older man off camera, giving the whole spot a sort of kiddie-porn screen test flavor.  I think it ran for about a month before people caught on and demanded it get pulled.

Geezus those are bad.  They want how much for those?  I have a bunch of vietnam jungle fatigue cutoff shorts that I stole from my dad's trunk, look just like that, you can come get them for free.

The only thing the A&F shorts are missing is the smell.

When did it become fashionable to dress like a coal miner anyway?

I think the phase started in the late 80's when all the rockers wore beat up cami jackets. Then came grunge. Now we have, whatever you call it.

Yesterday he had an auction for a catalogue that was at $56andchange but the high bidder had no prior history.  No feedback posted that shows him as a seller.  I guess give it a few days and see what materializes.

I can't wait to see what A&F's Spring Catalogue looks like.  Could be a new collectible market forming. :p

Who could resist a pair of pants like these 100% cotton Air Infantry Cargo Pants, with "zipper fly, vintage military zips & trims, drawcords at hems, screenprint graphic, contoured waist, aqua dyed tint, Vintage Abercrombie Wash, Classic Fit" for $60?

I have to admit, the camo version might be useful, but I think I could get some used military surplus for a lot less money.
