Those accusations are a far cry from everything I have been able to find, which includes the info you posted.

miko would rather attack the asking for sources.  It's much easier to spew garbage if you aren't required to support it with fact.

Or, they'll just ignore it.

Close enough Martlet...

It's all Democrapic Hogwash.  If the so called "sources" don't support the Democraps are right then there are no sources...

Therefore if a Democrap weighs as much as a duck....then...

Our "socialism" has nothing to do with our military.  There is plenty of money to go around and to properly fund our military...it is our misguided political leaders who choose not to apply available resources to maintain and upgrade the Canadian Armed Forces.  That is, and always has been, a political decision and not a financial one.

And, as an aside, our "socialism" has, I believe, resulted in a better financial state of affairs for our federal and provincial governments when compared to our cousins to the south.

It seems people's butts are the usual source for commentary on this board...

They pull facts, figures, and opinions out of that source left and right.

GRUNHERZ: Miko I want sources for the 90,000 figure. I want sources fot the idea that whites were allowed to vote if named

Me too - I could not find it anywhere yet. Probably not true - or not provable. Not that it makes much difference - 90,000 or 9,000 when a few hundred were enough to tip the balance.
What I do not see is those few hundred disenfranchised blacks coming out with a suit alleging their civil rights were violated by illegally denying them the right to vote. There are plenty of powers with money to organise such a class action suit, so where is it? I can name every soldier killed in Iraq and every 911 victim, so why do we have to rely on hypothetic "Jones" when real names should have existed.
That is what makes election results valid in my opinion.

But it helps when you are specific in such request like you just did now. Otherwise you may just seem contrary and hurt your case. It costs you just a minute to type compared to "Quote" and "Sources?" but makes your side more persuasive.

Florida Election 2000. Two counties filed papers to settle a lawsuit from civil rights groups over the alleged widespread voting problems that resulted in George W. Bush being elected President in 2000. The settlement calls for creation of a state coordinator for election law compliance, reporting on future election day problems, correcting mistakes in a purge of convicted felons and expanding voter rights on provisional ballots.
