been looking around radioshack.com to try find something i want for christmas...found these...and i just want a second opinion from someone with some knowhow if there worth the money (i dont want something that will break within a week...)

If you're looking into RC aviation, the way to do it is at a hobby shop, not radio shack.  

If you want a toy airplane, these are probably good enough.  

Basically, if it doesn't have at least three channels (throttle, elevator, and some form of roll or yaw control), it's either a toy or a sailplane.
