Kudos to the Hurri and 109E drivers at 27 last night

I'm sure it happens more then I know, but it was the first time I've seen a mob appear in Hurri IIs, and then again in 109Es.  Normally it's a mob of LA7s, Spits or Nik's

I thought it was kinda cool that these guys were doing something different.  Each time the country channel raised the alarm that 27 was gonna get hit, I'd see that dar bar getting bigger and expected the mob to be the usual.  Instead these guys show up and even more impressively, they stayed in and fought.  20 + Hurri IIs with alt the first trip and then 20+ 109Es, or so it appeared.

I was turning with one of the 109s and only when it got really down and dirty on the deck when I was close enough that I saw the squared off wingtips to recognize the Emil.

It was a great furball and most enjoyable.

I've been clipped by Hurri II cannon enough to know that's true, at least low and slow on the deck :) I was impressed that these guys were using those planes instead of the usual LA7,Nik, Spit IX.  Appeared to be a squad op, and they were having fun doing something different.

DmdFiat was on the country channel hollering for help '27 27 27 27!"  I saw him up there with the mob of 109Es along with one other Knight.  Thankfully you guys came down a bit for the rest of us :)

No film sad to say.  I was out of the 38 for that one. Took a Spit IX.  If I'd have known it was all 109Es I'd have taken a Spit I :)
