Does anyone *Crave* a perticular plane when outside the game?
« on: December 11, 2003, 12:33:07 PM »
Is this just me, or are there players out there that could be working, Driveing or cooking and just sudden;y desire to fly a particular plane in the game, and have to do this *Right Now*?

My particular bird is usually the Bf109 G10.  Don't ask my why, as I usually fly the F4U1 / D or the 38.

Anyone else have this weird desire, and if so, what plane is it for you?

depends on what's on the history channel at the moment sometimes.
Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
I'm not perfect, but I am closer to it than you are.

I feel the craving a lot.  I'll be driving to the workshop and visions of my 109G-10 cockpit fill my thoughts.  I even tried to shoot down a Volvo once.  :D  Didn't work.

AH is a fun hobby.  There's nothing wrong with "wanting more" of it.

I think Hitech laced this game with cocaine or something.  We're AH addicts.

souped up 190D9 or Ta152 on the deck, firewalled through the streets of downtown Paris or New York, or up and down the cliffs and hillsides of ocean coasts.

Hmmm..............

109G10 with Gondolas LOL

Not sure why but the more I fly it in AH the more I like it???????

Maybe it's because of the LA7 dweebs?  Maybe it's because IMHO the 109G10 seems to put me on a more even footing? or flying level with the LA7's.  Speed is close and they maneuver about the same plus the 109 seems to have a definite edge above 8K or so.  And the 109G10 without Gondolas is perhaps a tad faster then the LA7's in the lower altitudes when E is about even.

Then the 109G6 no Gondolas?!?!?

Climb rate thing?

Ya I get cravings lol.

If I see a show about TBMS on the History channel or Wings I'll have to go take one up just for kicks.

But even on a regular basis which plane I fly is often a matter of what mood I'm in, what I feel like doing.

Good to know I am not insane...

sometimes I see a plane on the History Channel, or some other documentry. But I would have to agree the mood has a lot to do with it. If I am doing Jabo it's almost always the F4U1D or P-38L.  Furballing is the LA7. Staying in the air for hours in the same plane picking ppl off it's the 109G10. Sometimes hte G6 if I am fighting carrier planes.  This I do a lot of in the wee early morning hours.

But I am curious, Why the ostwind at stop lights?

I have been driving for some 20 years now, Been suspended for 10 of those... Is that what you mean? :)

When at stoplights I am usually checking out the young bouncy things crossing the street. Contemplating running one over as an axcuse to commit.. errr,  Perform CPR... :)
