ATI 9700 Pro configuration

You're joking right??  Sure RAM always helps, but I'd be tweaking that Vid Card.  I DON'T mean overclocking it either.  Flying with Mips and transitions off make the game look really bad.  Shouldn't your 9700 be kicking the crap outta my GeForce 3??

I'm serious here!  if that's all the better the ATI is my 9600 XT's going back.

Mold may have a valid point.  256 is pretty marginal with XP.  It takes close to 200 just to run everything before you launch AH.  RAM is sure a lot cheaper than an 9800XT and If I already had a 9700 , I wouldn't upgrade till the next generation  of cards.

Paid 171.00 Shipping and handling and insurance from Yogi Computers, Pa.
Its a Sapphire 9600 XT.  I got it today.  Didn't check my mail yesterday.

Nice card but!  AH2 sucks with it right now.  Some other games have better graphics.  Make me a resonable offer, in private, for a card that's only 3 hours old.

For AH I'll take my GeForce 3 anyday!

I've got just a plain jane 9600, nuttin' special about it. No problems. shrugs, I think some of you people just have bad luck. lol.
