Just a thought.

We all should now know (being the sim fans we are) that there is a program called Roger Wilco out there that can handle our voice communication problems excellently.  RW also has what they call a base station which works great if someone has a hard connection to the net.  Well my question is this.  Does anyone have a hard connection who would be willing to house the communication hub for the contries.  Heck even HT could do it (if they are allowed that is) and that way we can all be comunicate if we want, or squads can set up a channel where they all can communicate with eachother without the hassel of finding out the IP of your wingmen.

Just a thought, anyway let me know what you think.

i agree with you eagle, it would be nice to have a constant ip to use. However can you imagine what it would be like after a while. Once everybody found the channel, you would never be able to hear anything. Everyone would be talking at once. i personally think its ok the way it is.

I understand what you mean, but I think that with RW base station, you can set up your own station, you don't need to use the ones that are defaulted (i.e. managed by the basestation owner)  That way we can have a general channel or you can create one.  It just makes it easier.  But I can definitly see where there may be a problem.  I think I will sit back for a while and see what others may or may not think.

Thanks for the input.
