Weazel
Like it or not it doesn't seem to matter if it's brand W, or AH. Once the p51's & the 190's are out the poor zeke seems to end up lacking.

Not sure if it's not beeing modeled well, or if it is just plain outclassed.

When (instead of if) AH models it I'm sure I'll love it. I'm a dedicated A6m pilot everywhere else. If you really want to see a Japanese plane that will give the P51 fits bring on the ki-84.
Speeds are close, better manuverabilty, good Vert moves, excellent acceleration, wicked guns.

P-40N, please. 5,000 built, and just looks soooo cool. While outclassed at high alt (single stage supercharger only, as I recall), it would definitely do well at low altitude.

Typhoon. Or Tempest. Alternatively, for a laugh, Defiant

YES! The defiant! But will all the kills earned by Otto count for Ack-Kills? :-)

After so much Z&B planes we need to balance the planeset with T&B planes:
Following scenarios are to be set up:
1)Fiat CR42 vs. Gloster Gladiator

2)Fieseler Storch against Fayrey Swordfish (This is a low budget version of "Bulton Paul Defiant vs. Messerschmitt 109" the roles being inverted)

Please have mercy, I had a stressful day and it's now very late, time for me to go to bed or to a good brain squeezer.

Ciao!

OK..OK..for the purist...why not a YB-40. It served for about 4 months in 1942...It was a highly modified B-17F. Had 2, count em, 2 dorsal turrets and the waist gunners had twin .50 cals. It carried over 11,000 rounds of ammo as opposed to 3,900 rounds on the standard B-17.  Talk about a gun ship....

Drawback...was slower than the B-17 because of the extra turrett and the ammo load. But it shouold put a hurt on the P-51s here.

They did that with the B-24 too, but the plan didn't work very well because they were slower than the other bombers once they dropped their bombs, and therefore couldn't stay in formation.

sparviero, a big YES! to 1)Falco vs Gladiator   2)would require a reason for the Stringbag to be in AH though, like some ships   And of course the S.M.79 to sink them ships as well.
