Last Thurday I went down to the cafateria to buy a coffee and the lady at the registor gave me a canadian cent along other change.

This morning I go down for a coffee and I used this canadian penny in the purchase and the lady said they didnt take canadian money....I told her she gave it to me last week and she just gave me a stupid look.

Whats up with that?

They have to take in thier changed rolled up and the bank wont take the canadian stuff without an exchange surcharge or something like that.
Up here we get alot more US money in circulation then you get Canadian so its not so big a deal.
Its common for Canadians if they are planning a trip to the US to hang on to US bills they come across to save on the exchange rate when they go south.

He's only been in office officially for 3 days. Give him enough time and he'll **** everything up just like any other politician.
