Lazs!
I spent some time today looking through some old threads relating to proposed changes to various maps. I found some interesting points of view. Wlfgang had done some of his own experimentation with maps with fields close together. It's not clear how he tested these - maybe in H2H?
His findings come as no surprise. I've changed my sig to include excerpts from that thread. The underlining in the Wlfgang quote is mine, but gives a clear indication as to why I am opposed to the "Festerisation" of any further maps. Two words sum up the entire deal: No variety.
I realise that's not a problem for you, as the only thing that interests you is furballing. But what about the rest of us? I would be devastated if
all maps were Festerised.
But it's not likely to happen. You have your FMA map which gives you and many others what you want, which is endless furballs. And for those of us who like variety, there is pizza and other large maps like Trinity. I have no feelings one way or another about Big Isles.
As for Festerisation of the big maps, that's an action that can be summed up by what Skuzzy said some time ago - refer to my purple sig. text.
SHACK, Skuzzy.
