Need some suggestions....

I am thinking of buying me a headset.  I was wondering where I could get a quality headset that works, for around $15-$40.  Any suggestions?

I would go with Plantronics. I spent 30 on my behind the ears model and it works great. Although, even the 20 dollar models work just as well.

I've bought two sets of Sony Stereo Headphones.. they're comfortable (can be worn for long periods) , the cord is about 15ft. long, aswell as good quality sound.  They have no Mic attachment so you'll need to wear one around the neck. They go from 20-25, at best buy, the exact model num is:

MDR-CD180

I chewed through the first sets wire.. dunno those crazy battles get me nervous some times..

And for the Mic, I bought a labtec headset (with really small earphones) and hang it around my neck, with the mic positioned up.. Only problem I have are the wires which get tangled sometimes. Otherwise works great (and the headset was $15)

Several of my squad mates have recently picked up a new USB headset that they are all raving about.

Logitech Premium 300 Headset for $49.99 at Staples.

Personally I'm still useing cheaper labtec set, have about 3 of em around here in various models & they all still work. Oldest must be 6 years old now.

USB mics are ****. Lots of feedback. Not worth the money IMO.

I use a headset with a seperate mic.  My headphones were 29.99 (KOSS).  They are excellent, and the $10 labtec headset wraps around my neck withthe mic at my mouth.  It works really good and I am not saddled with a mic on my headphones.
