8 mbit ADSL $64 a month

Been using my old trusty 56k modem since i got back from Thailand, and now the price war broke out on the market...

We got 4 major players on the broadband market here, and christmas time is coming...

Signed up today, got a free dvd-player and 8mbit downstream, 1 mbit upstream (hey i only download stuff anyway).

All this for 64$ a month! its great to live here if you are into computers :)

Now almost every citizen can get "real" broadband thru their phone line, if you live within 300 meters to the "base" station you get up to 26 mbit thru the phone line "VDSL".

I live 600 meters from the base station so i have to settle with 8mbit! but i cant wait for a faster conx no more, and the free dvd-player will become a good gift to someone in my family for christmas!

We are one of the most "multi-cultured" nations in the world... We got people from more nations here then the USA have...

And of course youre welcome, hard to find appartments though... And no, you cant stay at my place...

Then again my 512/512 is 33$. The faster ones are ridiculously expensive indeed.

That was a good price for a fast connection, I got 38$ for a 2000/512 line.
