Ok - so I'm a typical Brit coming to the USA for 10 days on business, flying into Denver tomorrow. Any suggestions on aircraft museums, airfields etc that I should look in on.

I'm not aware of anything like that in Denver... you might pop down to Colorado Springs and see what the Air Force Academy has.

You could probably come up to Boulder and get a ride in a glider by some nice lookin' mountains.

you might also try the Broomfield airport for more information.  They usually hold the airshows there and may be able to point you in the right direction.

It's in Broomfield (suburb) btw.

I saw what appeared to be a B17 landing at the broomfield airport a couple weeks ago... just south of where I am in Louisville.

Thanks for that guys. I guess the Air Force Academy is the starting point, and I'll see what comes up from there.
