Our Servicemen need some holiday cheer
« on: December 19, 2003, 10:39:39 PM »
This evening I received a request from a friend, recently retired from the Navy, in the form of a list of men & women serving overseas in the military, who are in need of some holiday cheer.
The request is for anyone with an extra card, cookies, ANYTHING that can brighten the spirits of those -protecting us- during this holiday season.

Anyone interested, please e-mail me at topchef@sover.net and I'll send you the list.

If anyone with server space would like to link the list, I'll be happy to send it to you.

Thanks, and Season's Greetings to All

A good way to help out is to contact your local USO branch and ask them if they have any serviceman/woman that doesn't have anywhere to go for Christmas.

My girlfriend and I, along with our families, are hosting a Christmas dinner for sailors and Marines that weren't able to make it home for the Holidays.
