Philosophy and Religion, The Basics and the Universe
« on: December 23, 2003, 04:46:16 PM »
Not sure why I wanted to post this, but I do, so bear with me

Philosophy at its base is a way to express ideals and beliefs of the universe and its relation to everything. As it stands, Philosophy came about as Humans not only looked outward to the world around them, but searched inward to their inner being and soul.

Religion at its base is a way to explain the world in a manner that pertains to an individual or group. As it stands, Religion is the old science. When Science fully came into being, Religion started to decline and lose its hold upon the Masses.

There are three Universal Truths
1 - Fate - What is meant to happen in your Life
2 - Karma - What you put out, you get back Three Fold
3 - Destiny - What is meant for you (Not the same as Fate)

The Universe has a bloodstream which is known as the life force. This is the connected collective energy of all life. A more common term for this energy is Psychic Force. By Tapping into this energy stream one can do anything imaginable. However one needs to understand how to manipulate and use this Energy. This is also how it is possible for people to know what the other is thinking or feeling. Twins seems to be the easiest and most powerfull linked, but not all twins are this way. Psychic Energy is just the Life Energy of the Universe, and in this way we are all connected.

RE: FATE

Nothing is "meant to happen in your life".  We decide what is meant to happen, or if we're lacking in personal convictions or strength, we let others decide for us.

RE: KARMA

There is no guarentee that what you give will comeback three-fold.  Some people give and give and give, and end up with nothing, though being kind and generous usually has its advantages over being mean and greedy.

RE: DESTINY

Again, nothing is "meant for you" in life, otherwise free will doesn't exist.  It hasn't all been decided already.

RE:  "By tapping into this energy stream one can do anything imaginable."

No.  You've been reading too much Deepak Chopra, perhaps.

EDIT: Amazing, I re-read it and didn't realise the y was missing from the first "they".

3- Destiny.....its not a question of free will....its Metapyshical only.....chit happens...hence your destiny:aok

its us humans who try and understand things as they happen and try to put WORDS to things we don't actually comprehend.

Philosophy at its base is a way  -
to define in many vague words either the obvious or the nothing.

Religion at its base is a way -
to avoid the need of explaining anything, taking responsibility or thinking too hard. It's god's will and his mysterious ways...

There are three Universal Truths
1. If something can go wrong - it will.
2. When a tree falls in the woods and there's no one to hear it - no one cares if it makes a sound.
3. There will be no toilet paper if you havn't checked before you started.
