We going to have any free time period in MA for poor people like myself to get in before saying goodbye to the game, because I know my PC can't handle it.

hmmmm. I can't see that happening.

Aside from being very hard to control, it would be pretty much cost prohibitive to HTC. (Just my opinion). It is after all, a bonafide business and not a club.  If free time is given HTC still has to cover its overhead somehow.

I too will have to hang up my guns for a time after AHII goes gold. But to be fair, I have been getting a pretty fair bang for my buck the last 2 years, and when I can afford to upgrade to the standard required to play I will be back.  HTC has made a customer here.

And if I have to unsubscribe for a few months (at $20.00 cdn/mnth) I can put that fee into rebuilding my scotch stock, which has been horribly pillaged in the last 2 years:D

AHII will probably cost me a new graphics card, although my machine is fairly powerful, so I see your point.
Keeping on with old AH might however pull to few customers into AHII, so I wonder what HTC will do. Maybe carry on with old AH for some time, keeping it more/equally  expensive than AHII?
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Man, you guys are some cheap SOB's.  Shell out the $50 for a new card, and maybe another $50 for some more ram.  It's not that big a deal.
Other new games are waaaaay more harsh on systems that AH2.

I also can't see any free time happening... I don't know how it could be done.  Until the end, I suppose we should just enjoy the ride where you are, in the MA or H2H.

But how about a little advance notice of the change. When a date is really set... So that those of us who are not in a position to upgrade right away can cancel our accounts at the end of a billing cycle.

Cheers,
goaly
