In early england it was a crime punishable by death to not stop a crime.    If you killed a criminal while he was commiting a crime it was ok, even looked favorably upon...  

a rapist is a rapist... He is gonna continue to rape any way he can...best to have a gun and kill him and then fill out the paperwork.    Cops are busy.  either way they are gonna close the case... better they close the case cause the perp is dead or in the hospital awaiting trial than they close it for lack of anyone tracking the guy down for em and pointing him out.   Much better use of paper in the former.

Prime example of why people shouldnt have guns.  No one said anything about rape except sudz.  And he was just asking a question. Perfect example of how "shoot first and ask questions later" is the reason people shouldnt have guns.
